Ken-ed zachary, as they say(translated-exactly!) with the coupler added and
the skirting under the anticlimber removed from DR&T days. FYI that shot is
at Reservoir Carhouse. Guess it's a fantrip since to my knowledge, those
cars never ran on Riverside. Initially, 8 were purchased in 1959 for the
Northeastern -Paahk St. via Huntington Subway service. They were used on
that operation until almost the end of the PCC era. When the rest came, they
were assigned to Ashmont-Mattapan and the all-electrics returned to the
current Green Line routes for Arborway(aka Aahbahway) via Huntington
service. A couple Dallas cars ran some trippers to Heath St. loop by the VA
Hospital or to Brigham Circle and as an undergraduate @ BU in the
mid-1960's, I distinctly remember one every afternoon plying the cutback of
the Watertown line to Oak Square passing in front of the university on
Commonwealth Ave. Too much information, eh?! Oh, and btw, very nice
shot-thanks!RICH
