It's hard to know what the true cost is. Many don't believe that
pollution has a cost; For those folks, the
equation is simpler: will the solar panels save their cost in power
during their service life? Probably
not, but lacking a crystal ball, can't say. If you do believe
pollution has a price (I do; Apparently so do you)
how do you quantify that price as an input to the equation? We haven't
worked out a way to do it yet.
