Mr.Motoligin was a mover and shaker behind the
4-car Detroit control system.  According to pg.56
of Mr.Mallery's handbook, simple 2-car control
with diodes is simply considered half-wave.

Phil - I never got to know Basil.  Many of the long time DUR members talk

Did you know Basil Motoligin?  Unfortunately he passed decades
ago.  He was a Detroit native with a large O-scale layout of DUR.
He was often featured in Traction and Models.
