Very sorry to hear this. I think I met him once, a long, long time ago at the museum. And I mainly know him for the many photographs.

Subject: [PRCo] Edward S. Miller

For those who knew him ... a very gentle man who would have rather remained quiet than say something negative about anyone on the planet, Edward S. Miller passed away a little after 9 a.m. this morning.

Rich Allman had a great story about him. Rich once reminded me of a picture Ed took on a snowy day of a Wilkes-Barre streetcar. Well, before he could take it, he had to also fulfill other obligations. He had to shovel the walk around the Catholic church first. And that was Ed through out his entire life. He always had to do for someone else.

Some of his pictures appear in the Charleroi website ...

He trusted everyone. He loved his fellow man.

He was a regular contributor to ERA Headlights magazine when the late John Baxter of Pittsburgh was the editor.
