I have no problem with a certain degree of socialism.   I believe our real world needs to fall somewhere between the rich taking as much as they can and giving their workers as little as possible and a world in which certain things such as child care, medical care, reasonable vacations and reasonable minimum wages are available to all who are willing to but in a full day (year) of work.   

I do draw the line at kids like my own who proclaim "I didn't ask to be born and therefore you owe me a living."
