Mr.Josephson,
Thank you for a good laugh.  The list has been far
too serious lately hasn't it.  Was it local language?
Pittsburgh is certainly known for its own version
of English.

Some of my grade school teachers would tell us
that when  a word begins with "wh", the "h" was silent.
Others would pronounce the "h" in front of the 
"w"..."Huh-wat, huh-wen, huh-wye....."
