Well, you see, the laws of physics differ depending on where the plane
took off from and where it's going.  A flight within the United
States?  Pre-pantsbomber rules are enough.  A flight from another
country to the United States?  Different physics.  Explosives and
weapons work completely differently.  So the rules must be different.
Unfortunately, our bladders don't know the difference, and neither
does any terrorist who figures out that it's possible to enter the US
without flying commercially.

No, sir, that's only my tongue in my cheek.  It's not a weapon, I swear!
