Meanwhile, in Southern Ontario we've hardly had any snow since December.  Sunny and cold today. We had our turn a couple of years ago.

anyone want to hear about a five hour power outage?-dark, cold, no knowledge 
of when it comes back on(it finally did @ 1750 last pm!) and no way to get 
out and escape. We were actually kinda scared-told our next door neighbors 
that the advice to check up on oldie neighbors applied to them re: us! 38 
days until Spring...
