I just bought and looked at the article in question yesterday.   Ara  
would not have been guilty of pictures that unsharp.   He had top  
notch equipment.   I suspect he bought duplicate slides from Ara and  
then palmed them off on Kalmbach with or without permission.   Some  
of them are moving cars ... and they are 30 years or more before the  
era of motor drives for cameras.   When you visit a company once or  
twice, you don't give away your good original slides at the bottom of  
Crawford Street hill, or entering Swedetown siding ... cars in the  
yard yes, but not moving cars.
