Sometimes it is a remembrance of our youth and sometimes it is a note of 
history.  I saw the news item as I was watching the evening news and knew 
quite a few people on this list would enjoy seeing history that they 
remember.  Some of the other items posted time to time come from having 
several Google Alerts in one of my Gmail accounts.
Like Vic Cianca, I was lucky to have a job that was my passion.  Few of us 
get to do that.  Even in semi-retirement, I have had wonderful opportunities 
to continue to share that passion.  One of the best traits of any teacher is 
the ability to continue to listen and continue to learn.  I get to do both 
of those through this list on a regular basis.  Thank you!

Vic Cianca also shows us there are positive things in the world and change 
can be made on all levels. One of the best ways to do that is to get someone 
to smile.  It is amazing what one can accomplish when people know you feel 
good about them and they start to feel good about themselves.
