thanks, Phil for your thoughtful inquiry! Have appointment w/ surgeon 
tomorrow and will find out whether I can hang up the immobilizer, begin 
activeas opposed to passive excercises, which have gone quite well, and when 
I can resume driving. Have resumed working, though doing any procedures is 
very limited to this point. The incision is a thing of beauty! RICH
