I wonder how much was left when the area under and around the bridge was
filled in? When I began operating PCCs the bridge was still in place and
seemed to be sitting on level ground. I was told there used to be a railroad
running under it and this area was all fill. Now I see what was under the
bridge. There may be a lot of history buried in this area today.
