Because the platforms at Simmons today are long enough for a train, it is difficult to define. Let's just say within a few feet. Remember that there had to be room for a loop and it was a relatively tight loop so that the double tracks had to be close enough to the highway so that the loop track was right against the road. That's just about where the platforms are today.
