One of our local theater companies (Bricolage, for the like 3 of you
who are local) has been doing a series of "old time radio" theater
shows, basically everyone does some foley work and some voice work,
and you get to see them do it live.

This weekend, that is to say, ending tonight, they're re-enacting War
of the Worlds.

Alas, as I will land at PIT at 2:30pm tomorrow, I will miss it.

They're right on Liberty Avenue downtown, and these shows start at
9pm; It's quite easy after seeing pictures of what Liberty Avenue used
to look like to imagine coming out, heading to a safety island, and
stepping onto a car to head home. But these days, we walk to 6th by
Smithfield and catch a bus.
