During the time I operated PCC cars there were two trips in the AM peak and
two trips just before the PM peak period signed up as 43-Neeld or
43-Beechview. These were school trippers which, during the morning, ran from
SHJct to Neeld Loop then ran inbound only to SHJct for the benefit of South
Hills High School students. During the PM the trips left SHJct
Administration Building and operated to Neeld Loop. Otherwise, Neeld Loop
was sometimes used as an emergency turnback.
