Paradoxically, global warming receives at least part of the blame for it. As the air tem warms, more moisture can be picked up over bodies of water by the atmosphere. When the saturated atmosphere reaches low temp zones, snow results. In warmer climes, we get increased rain.
But other climatic phenomena such as el nino effects and the like also come into play. All are intensified or aggravated by global warming.

The Question comes to mind:Â Â Â "Where is (AL GORE) in the midst of one of the worst Winters in
recent history?   Here in Sunny Florida we are going to 73 and partly cloudy!   Had to sweep
sidewalks today, the had some sand on them! Â

It's 37 degrees and raining this morning. Â So much for doom and gloom. Â But
don't tell the Weather Channel.
There is a forecast for a lot of rain today and into tomorrow, then it turns
cold again for a day or two.
Hey, it's February.
