[PRCo] Chicago blizzard here

Yesterday's Weather Channel forecast for Chicago was accurate. We got 2 feet of snow overnight, and 50+ MPH winds, so snow has drifted up to 4 feet. 




Attached are a couple of photos taken from our patio door about an hour ago.  Note the yardstick in the snow, which is at the 24" mark. In the photo of the swing set, note the height of the snow against the 5-1/2 ft. fence and the shed doors in the background. 



No major delays on the rail lines yesterday afternoon and evening - Metra trains were running on load-and-go schedules.  My son got a train at 3PM, and was home a little after 4PM. 



It's still snowing.  A great day for taking rail photos, but I can't get beyond the patio door.
