There's a reason retirement age was set at 65 - I can feel it. My advice to everyone else - stay young.

I remember riding them in places like Columbus and Wilmington and Philadelphia and Nawlins. and seeing them in Milwaukee and Chicago and Johnstown. And who made those TCs I rode in Brooklyn. Gee there were also some weird center steering wheel Pullmans in Atlanta that I rode.

And back when I was in college, there was a night man for Conestoga Transportation who worked with me at Sears Roebuck. On several occasions after the store closed I would go into the garage with him. He would work the pump rack fueling buses. I would pull them into the garage and park them for the next day and then walk back to the pumps and get the next bus. I had my share of fun with old look GMs and ACF Brills from the driver's seat.

How can that possibly be old enough to be historic or a museum piece? I have those issues with 1711 because I can remember my dad handing the supplement to the Pittsburgh Press across the dinner table to me in 1948 that announced the arrival of the 1700s. And John worked his way through college driving those propane buses in Chicago. John, are you on Derrick's address list? If not, you should be......
