LowFloors

Herb:

Hollywood Foundry does make a beautiful product and yes I did put two of
their Low Boy drives into brass PRCO low floors. But it was not an easy
task. I had to create different level floors in the car - the power truck,
trailing truck, and motor all were at different heights. Once together they
run like a charm.

Hollywood Foundry has a new product called the Diablo that may work better
for this application. It is a power truck "kit" that comes in various
wheelbases and sizes, I think it comes in the correct size for a PRCo low
floor. Like the Bowser drive the motor sits up inside the car. It takes a
little patience to bend the parts but the one I have went together and works
well. He also sells a trail truck called Lightning.

If you ever get one I can supply side frames if Eric doesn't supply them.

Also, if you think you may want one in the future you might want to order
the body from Eric soon. He may not make too many of them.

Bob

the price is higher than the Bowser, but the drives from Geoff are
beautifully machined and excellent running.
