Ah so.   It was today that they took the rust off the streets.   But your finger hit the wrong key Derrick.   The 5 and the 4 are so close to each other.   It's been 51 years!   

I wasn't there.   I don't have a diary but I suspect I might have been doing nothing in Pirmasens, Germany.   That summer I waited until August and then took a month's escape from the army in Britain.  While the Americans were lamenting the loss of cars in Johnstown, I was learning to love British, German and French steam and double-deck trams in Britain!
