the other great Charlie Houser story relates to the famous Lehigh Valley
NRHS fan trip in April 1951, w/ 3 car train of 700 cars. northbound at some
speed coming into Center Square, crossing Skippack Pike, no way was Charlie
able to stop that thing very fast, so he just leaned on the horn and sailed
across the road-safely-phewww!!!!
