The 42/38 extension car is arriving at Castle Shannon. This is how it looked
in 1973 when I started streetcar training with PATransit. It is not
Clearview Loop.
The downtown photo with the number 10 car is NOT 6th & Penn. I think you
have Heinz Hall, at Sixth and Penn, confused with the Stanley Theater which
is at Seventh and Penn. The car is turning off Penn onto Seventh and will
shortly pass 121 Seventh Street, the head office of PRCo. Heinz Hall is
where the Pittsburgh Symphony plays and the Stanley Theater is now the
Benedum Center for the Performing Arts and hosts live (legitimate) theater.
I have researched the 10 and 15 and will give the results of the research in
another post later today. Right now my cats need fed and I need to go to
Cleveland to get a haircut. See you later.
