Little Juniata Rapids was a 10-6 sleeper built by Budd in 1953 for SP's Sunset Limited. Â Amtrak operated this car on the Auto Train before the 10-6 was rebuilt by Juniata Terminal Co.

Ken  I doubt you rode on the last car, PRR 120, as it was the private
caro= f the President of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Â The car Warrior Ridge,
now set up as a parlor/dinette, was an= SP car from the Sunset Limited  and
later served on AMTK.&nb= sp; It was called a "French Quarter" lounge car. Â
The sleeper is Little Juniata Rapids, and it is also not orig= inal PRR, but
I forget its ancestry. Â The two E-8s hauling the train are genuine article
PRR, so perhaps you= rode behind at least one of them. Â Dwight

That train lo= oks like the one we rode in December, 1967. Except this one
is
a lot cl= eaner, shiny and several cars shorter.
Thanks for sharing.
