$4.00//each; $2.00 if NMRA member. This for a 300-dpi scan, 5100-
pixels wide!

I just remembered, Ray; the NMRA is in the process of scanning
and displaying their photo collection online. This may be a 'route'
to follow:
"Full resolution image files, up to 5100 pixels wide at 300 dpi, can be
purchased on line via PayPal. Once a purchase is completed, a link will be
emailed with the instructions for download."
http://archive.nmra.org/SiteExplanation.aspx
Yes; this takes time and effort doesn't it. Everything the museum
currently has presented a 'can't be done' challenge at one time.
Here is a link for 'trolleys;' this is a work in progress and just begun.
Even Pgh trolleys are already scanned; very recent but at least Pgh.
gets some exposure:

Yes, Ray, that is an excellent idea. The museum depends
upon donations, sales, grants not having regular income
like business. Thus photos can be a source of identification
and income which poses problems in posting. There is
an answer; just don't know how that can be approached.

I agree the special effects were way overboard.
You might try clpgh.org to see if these photos
are online at the Carnegie library. I wish PTM could do
some thing with the University of Pittsburgh
and their Historic Pittsburgh web site and put their
collection on line.

Yes, interesting content but the most hellish video
I have ever watched. A different special effect every
photo is massive overkill isn't it. It is highly
annoying. Does the Carnegie library have online
photos?
