The West Penn line entered Brownsville on 6th Avenue to Market Street. The
former end of line was a couple hundred feet beyond the Flatiron Bldg., down
by the to-be-built M.Ry. Station. There is a postcard with a car down
there. The Union Station was built adjacent to the large three-story
building.

Nice to meet you at the Cole seminar!
I don't have data where I am today to suggest where WP entered Market Street
in Brownsville, but I can tell you where it ended at least in latter years.
This was at the curb opposite the Brownsville Union Station (which still
exists). There was a triangular building across the street from the station
and this is where WP cars changed ends, on the downriver side of the street.
The building had a variety of tenants, including at one time a bus station.
If you look at the Google map, the location is approximately where the
"Flatiron Visitors Center" is shown. This was NOT the vacated West Penn
Electric office, which was across the street and maybe a half block further
out from downtown Brownsville.
I've been told, but don't have supporting data to know the extent of it,
that in earlier years the cars went further into town on Market Street.
There are steel poles along that street that could well have been OHL
supports--but that is just my speculation.
