It was the turkey breast again.
I noticed the hillside cables and started looking for an incline plane,
however, noticed the cables ended part way up the hillside.  I also
wondered about the barren part of the hill but did not think of a
strip-mining operation. I did think about the Altoona area and did start
looking at railroad photos from that area. However, again, the turkey
breast needed more attention than the photos. Will have to check them out
later.
