According to 1917 and 1925 track maps, there were two tracks on the Bon Air
line, but only one was connected to Brownsville Road trackage and was used
by the single shuttle car that went up and down the hill. I suspect that
grander schemes were once planned such as a connection to the interurban or
to the Brookline neighborhood as these were hinted at in early leases I saw
between PRCo and the land company that developed Brookline. There was
nothing concrete though and it never happened anyway.
