A correction for those looking at this thread.

Junction Park was North WEST of 3rd Ave and the current YMCA drive.

As much as I look at maps, you would think my directions would not get mixed
up :-).

Looking at the 1939 aerial of the area shows a track and buildings which
must have been Junction park NE of current YMCA
