Is this correct? No more service along former route 37?
Also, I had thought service to Union Station had ended some time ago. Did it end and then get reinstated, or what? When I rode the first afternoon trip a few years ago, the motorman had to stop and unlock the gate in the cyclone fence and move it off the tracks. Hardly rapid transit!

Subject: [Mileage] PAT Penn Sta. Spur
While in Pittsburgh, Pa. earlier today to ride the new 1.2 mile, 2 station LRT North Shore Connector, I noted that LRT service to Penn Station has been halted as of 3/26/12 when the new line opened. The Penn Station spur served the Amtrak/PRR station and was built on the former PRR alignment that connected the station to the Panhandle Bridge for trains to/from Cincinnati, St; Louis, etc. The Spur in recent years was used only for a few peak trips on weekdays, and has not been abandoned but the station is barricaded. Also eliminated 3/26 was scheduled LRT service via Overbrook. The original Gateway station, which also had an underground turning loop from the PCC era, is disconnected and replaced by a sharp turn to the new line and platform, leaving Pittsburgh as one of a handful of cities with an abandoned subway platform/line. Both the Red and Blue Line timetables were reissued 3/26, check website at Port Authority.org for details.
