Whether or not I CAN open the link, or any link, is beside the point.

The point is that the photo is hijacked from the email as composed and sent somewhere.  Doesn’t matter where, it is not available in the original email to be read as the sender intended it to be read.  There is some risk involved in clicking on links, but that is a minor issue, compared with the enforced censorship imposed by Ecartis.

Compare messages censored by Ecartis with the ease of seeing photos in the multitudinous emails that Bill sends each week.

This is a matter of principle with me, not technology.  I concede that it is a technological triumph—but another example of technology gone amok, to the detriment of the users.
