It had to be after about 1960 as that is about the time PRC stripped off the monitor roof and replaced the trolley base cowling with one of the short ones from an 1000 or 1100 series car, most of which were being sent to scrap in that era. Also, I suspect it was on an enthusiast tour as (at least in my day) 1630 was assigned to Tunnel Car House and generally used on Rt. 42. Donât know if this changed after I moved from da Burgh in mid 1960 or not.

I received my first ever "Pittsburgh Railways PCC" birthday cake today.
The photo is PCC 1630 (with PRCo logo on rear-flank) coming under a bridge
signed up for 67-Swissvale Rankin Braddock and a "Rankin Circle" sign in
the windshield. The person who was responsible for the cake only knew the
photo was "from the internet".
I'm sure someone on The List either knows the photo or took the photo.
Anyone know this pic ?
