Excellent article ! I remember Hattie very well.
Those of us who were trained by PRCo training instructors, such as Angelo
Nazzo, always speak the same "trolley operation
language"..................read the tracks ahead; remember the three S's
(Start Stopping Sooner), P.T.R.S. (Protect The Right Side), scan the
intersections, etc. I always enjoyed talking with Hattie especially getting
her to talk about the West End operations. (Hattie always worked out of
Ingram Car House until it closed).
