Dennis,
Who owns the passenger equipment being used on this train? Interesting is
the way they haul the coal supply and the loader riding in its' own
gondola. Where do they get the water? When steam locos run on CVRR the coal
is stockpiled at Boston Mill Station along with the loader and water can be
taken on at the City of Akron Fresh Water Well at Merriman Valley or at the
Fitzwater Rail Yard from the fire hydrants.
Fred,
You have apparently never seen the people who accompany 765 on it's travels
in action. Any time 765 is sitting idle they are going over it oiling,
lubricating, cleaning and polishing.  See the attached three photos I took
on 26 September 2010. NKP765 was here in 2010 and 2011. This year it will
be CP1293.
