Or if you calculate like MARTA did when they were trying to prove how many people their new subway would haul, they counted boarding and alighting passengers.   You would then have 30,000.   :<)   You count them getting on in Stone Mountain, getting off downtown in the morning, getting back on downtown in the evening and back off in Stone Mountain in the evening … each passenger was counted four times.  

Still, 7056 is damn good for a museum.   How many other museums do you know that are moving close a thousand people a day?  

I would have liked to have had the beer concession to sell to the trainmen at the end of each shift!
