But did not that "what if" have to do with rerouting West End service trams
over the Smithfield Street Bridge after PRC was ejected from the Point
Bridge? AIR it had nothing to do with the feed on-feed off of Rt. 23 trams
from Tunnel Car House. At any rate, Rt. 23 was long gone by the time the
Point Bridge route was foreclosed.
