Maybe the black flags were mourning the death of PRCo!
This photo may be one for the PC photo police. I have a copy of it that I
never put on my web site because the photographer and owner Bradley Clarke
gave it to me with instructions to NOT upload it. I wonder how the ATU got
it.....

The black flag probably meant that a 1600series was heading toward you :-o
Not my favorite type of car. At any rate the black flags were gone by my
time at PATransit.
Also, it's interesting to see Car 1795 working the 40-Mt Washington line.
