White Castle restaurants are all over the Chicago area and suburbs, and new ones continue to be built.  Their h amburgers are small but cheap.

Could it have been an old White CASTLE restaurant? They were similar to 
White Tower in design. Most of them are gone now. Cleveland has a few 
remaining and Pittsburgh shows one remaining.
