yeah. ecartis is dumb when text/plain is part of a multipart/mixed
message in a way that looks
like an attachment.

a person who used a screen reader was responsible for that getting
implemented that way,
though i was the one who implemented it. apparently i never tested
that the "other way"
worked correctly, so the tickybox that should make the right thing
happen, doesn't.

he did have a point: his screen reader couldn't read him any attachment, period.
one hopes in 6 years, accessibility devices for the blind have come along, but
i have no idea.
