I've been using a Nikon 5000ED for several years, and am very pleased with its performance.  A couple of months ago I scanned a slide at the 65MB setting, and then had a 24"X36" poster print made from the electronic file - it has outstanding detail.

This is the scanner I use at home, and is exactly the kind of thing that the
library needs. Please keep me posted on its availability, Jim.

Over the next several months, PTM will be developing an Archives plan which
will include equipment and policies. Stay tuned!

Thanks,
