Thanks to Ken and to Bob for all of these great shots.
Today is my birthday, and it still makes me ache a little to this day, that the last day  that an East End line ran was on 1/28/67.  And from what I see/hear it was the car I rode more often than not, the 88 Frankstown.

Thanks, Ken,  for the reminder about January 27, 1967 .  That month, every Friday evening after work I went out to photograph the East End trolleys since they didn't operate on weekends, and night shots were all I could get.



Attached are some photos I took on the last night, and into early Saturday morning.  I tried to ride as many last trips as possible, as well as getting the last cars returning to Craft CB. Around 3 am I went home to get a few hours sleep, then back out on January 28 to photograph 1767 which was giving free rides around Wilkinsburg.



Comments on a couple of the photos:



- 1734 - last car on route 88 after returning to Craft.



- 1755 - interior shot was taken on the last trip on route 64.
