KDKA had a spot on the new light rail line going from downtown to the North Shore. PAT claims it came in 6 million under budget. There are 2 different videos on the KDKA website that feature a ride under the Allegheny River.  Watch the lower video first-it was on the 5 newscast and the upper video was on the 6 newscast from Monday March 12. 
Rail operations will begin Sunday, March 25th and will be free from the Allegheny Station to the First Avenue Station due to underwriting by the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Rivers Casino.
