Could really well be Herb.   I have a cell phone that I can use to text.   I only pay the bill on it if I am going on a drive to the west coast and they they give me a new phone number.   I have never texted in my life.   So I don't have a clue about LOL and SIUYA and FYEO and all those other shortcuts.

If you read the Plugger Comic Strip in the newspapers, it reminds me of me every day.
