Delayed trolley service returning to normal operation

Service is returning to normal on Port Authority of Allegheny County trolleys following a short-term delay today that resulted when one red line and one blue line trolley were taken out of service.
There were not enough personnel to staff those two trips, Port Authority spokesman Jim Ritchie said.

Red Line service was reported back to normal as of 1:30 p.m., and Blue Line delays that approached 30 minutes are expected to be fully resolved by 3 p.m., he added.
