Someone at PAT Administration stated

that with the elimination of route 53L Homestead Park, customers would have to walk "six blocks" to get a different bus route.   HA!   It would take me about a half hour (20 minutes if I run) to get to Mifflin Road for a 56 Lincoln Place or 45 minutes to an hour walk, to get down to 8th Avenue in Homestead to get a 61C.
