I respect copyright and I've been using the internet since 1987 when it
was Arpanet. Recently one of you directed me to the ATU website that was
half filled with photographs of mine.

Despite copyright laws--and the more generous fair use ones in Canada,
i.e. non commercial use generally OK. You should assume that ANYTHING
you post on the net will be there for ever--cached here, there, and
everywhere--and treated as in the public domain. Password protected or
not it can and will be used by government agencies with or without court
permission--particularly US and UK, Canada has greater respect for
privacy. Post with care, watermark or use low definition images. If you
can't live with this reality don't post.

I post images in low-medium definition on Google Picasa. Good enough to
look at (postcard size) but insufficient to project or print.
