At some point in time,  Braddock Avenue was straightened south of Allen Avenue and Allen was renamed Allenby and extended onto the old Braddock Avenue where the car tracks remain.

Plate 5 of the 1915 Hopkins map clarifies and can be compared with the current goggle map.   Go to the far northwest corner of this:
