[PRCo] July 3, 1964 Brady Street Bridge - Route 54C

The article explains the new route replacing a little shuttle, but it never states why the route is not allowed to cross the Brady Street Bridge.   Was the bridge provided with additional strength, allowing for a large bus to cross it, at this time?

I guess it was, since I recall riding a regular PAT bus across it, in the early 70s.
