Living 26 miles downriver, I did not see the actual event nor the aftermath, 
but I do remember the news event when the tragedy happened.

This is another one of Fred's wild diversions…   This is essentially for our 
man in Della-wear but there may be others beside Dwight and I who are into 
river boats.

But if you are from Pittsburgh, this may appeal to you.     I remember 
seeing a deck chair laying on one of the nearby streets the evening of the 
fire as testimony to the fierce explosion.   Funny what you remember when 
you are seven years old!
