Looking around, I see:
Construction going on next to the Wabash Terminal train shed. Building the freight house, I suppose. Note also the box car and gondola car peeking out of the train shed. Not the sort of thing one would expect. I suspect the photo was taken before the Wabash Pgh Terminal went into full operation.
Over toward the point, there is construction going on in front of the exhibition hall. PRR building their elevated track and the new fright house, replacing the old freight house accessed by street trackage on Liberty Ave. That dates the photo to sometime in 1907, I believe.
In the distance, toward the Allegheny, and upstream from The Point, some multi-story building caught in mid-construction. Note also the Pittsburgh Trolley Pole Company (the low-pitched roof just above the lone coal barge moored on the wharf)

This one is a puzzle. I can't quite make out the street sign on the pole. Nearest I can come is an Elwyn Station, which is near an Elwyn Street. Further, the Hopkins plat (Volume 6 plate 23 - 1916) shows a bridge across Sawmill Run at/near Elwyn St. But there seem to be too many buildings right along the tracks. A puzzle.
