Did the Kingston Trio do the ballad on the Boston Trolley?
What would a Wilkinsburg / E-Pgh. car be doing on Grant in the first place?
Would this not be the 64-line? The article suggests he turned from west on
Diamond to south on Grant. His only other option in 1957 is a left turn onto 4th.
On Grant traveling south a right turn does not exist. Additionally the turns
from Diamond to Grant are non-revenue and not electrified are they.
What about an inbound 87-line? It could turn onto 11th but the switch to
Grant is non-revenue, not electrified isn't it. Again, there is no right turn
from Grant.
There may be a detour for whatever reason. For a 64-line car that could be
Diamond, Grant, 4th and back outbound. Incidentally, this date is a
Thursday.
It seems the article raises far more questions than it answers doesn't it.
Much may be lost in translation to 'news.' While one would hope otherwise
a story like this does not require facts to make an interesting read does it.

There should have been a Kingston Trio ballad written about him and his streetcar.
